As you can see, Flash player is a product Adobe and they do not intend to support AVI format at this time as long as I know.

Therefore you will need to convert AVI to FLV.

I use Any Video Converter. It is the easiest and has intuitive interface. And they have free version.
Here is the link
http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

gravel22 on "AVI support?" http://wpmarketing.org/forum/topic/avi-support#post-96 Tue, 19 Jan 2010 00:58:57 +0000 gravel22 96@http://wpmarketing.org/forum/
Avi files are too big in height for video streaming and it will eat your bandwith.

100mb avi file could be 15mb in flv file.

Im not the plugin coder so forgave me to add avi video support, but if you still want avi video support ask hana !

Have a good day,

Gravel22
mjlady on "AVI support?" http://wpmarketing.org/forum/topic/avi-support#post-95 Thu, 14 Jan 2010 15:49:43 +0000 mjlady 95@http://wpmarketing.org/forum/
I really like this plugin. specially that you can add a splash image..
