Hello Ilse, This is known problem with option 2 (flowplay v2) itself. I tried to find a solution for this but couldn't. Sorry.

Hi! First of all, I would like to say that the FLV player is a dream! There's is only one thing I run into and I can't seem to get it solved myself. I have implemented the player in my header and chose player nr 2 as I don't want to have any menus or borders shown. The purpose is to let the video show constantly. Therefore I have added the loop:true, attribute. But when I open my page, it only runs twice and then stops. When I try the other players, the loop works perfectly. Have I been missing anything while configuring the player or is it perhaps a bug? Seems like the plugin uses a <hana-ampersand > tag in its code. This is breaking the w3c validation. Should be easy solved by creating a <div class="hana-ampersand" > instead. If you insert more than one player on a page there is the object id monFlash which gives problems, as id can only be declared once. Also the more_2 and more_3 tag uses ampersands which are not encoded. If these are &amp ; instead of & the plugin should validate perfectly. Maybe xhtml compatibility would be a feature for some of the upcoming versions of hana flv-player? Thank you, volderette

I tried normal method to embed video with hana flv player and its working fine. Now I'm trying to load the video through hana flv player and with amazon s3 url genrator. Hi, There is nothing wrong with the short code. When I checked your web page's source code, I noticed there aren't any javascript tag showing. Javascript tag is used to show Flash player, so they are absolutely required. As I remember, some security plugin remove javascript tag from the post content. That's why I suspected you may have such plugin turned on. Why don't you set up a new wordpress in a separate folder and try out Hana Flv Player ? That will confirm if my assumption is correct or not. I tried different versions though. Also with a local flv file. I had wordpress security scanner enabled but i turned it off when it hana-flv didnt work.

I performed the testing with the Latest wordpress but was able to make it work with your single.php content. What was your short code used? Are you sure you are not using any security related plugins?

Hello, i have the same problem here. Only Player 3 works. I want to use Player 2 though. When i put it in directly in the template with hana_flv_player_template_call it works flawlessly. However when i want to insert a flv from a post it only gives me an empty div (<code><div id='hana_flv_flow_1'></div></code>). I deactivated all other plugins but its still not working. Im using the latest version (2.4.2) of your plugin and also the latest version of wordpress. I was using folder name " hana-flv-player.2.4" that's why video not displaying i just renamed the folder to hana-flv-player" and its working fine now. Great support Hana :)

Hello! I see that below javascript file is not properly loaded. If you see the html source code, you will file below script tag to load necessary javascript file. <pre> <script src='http://becominghmc.com/wp-content/plugins/hana-flv-player/osflv/AC_RunActiveContent.js' language='javascript'></script> </pre> But if you manually try to load the URL (<code><a href="http://becominghmc.com/wp-content/plugins/hana-flv-player/osflv/AC_RunActiveContent.js" rel="nofollow">http://becominghmc.com/wp-content/plugins/hana-flv-player/osflv/AC_RunActiveContent.js</a></code>) in the browser, you get nothing. You should be able to see the javascript file in order to make this work. My guess is that you are using some kind of Wordpress security plugin that prevents javascript file to run when it is located under the plugins folder. Either you should disable this security plugin or copy the <code>AC_RunActiveContent.js</code> file out of the plugins folder , maybe into Wordpress root path so that you can access it by URL <code><a href="http://becominghmc.com/AC_RunActiveContent.js" rel="nofollow">http://becominghmc.com/AC_RunActiveContent.js</a></code>. Hi, In one of our site this plugin is working fine. But recently I added this to the new site and the video only shows when i choose player 3 (or maxi). And i suspect it may be a conflict on a plugin im using which like yapb (yet another photoblog)? thanks

Hello tpouzaud You are right. I believe that allowing only ADMIN to access the option page is proper. I will update the plugin soon, but meanwhile, you can update the plugin file yourself to allow only admin the access of option page. Edit the plugin file ( <code>$WPHOME/wp-content/plugins/hana-flv-player/hana-flv-player.php</code>) at line 99 (version 2.4.2). Change the <code>add_options_page</code> function 's third argument to <code>8</code> from <code>1</code>. Before <pre> add_options_page($this->admin_setting_title,$this->admin_setting_menu, 1, __FILE__,array(&$this,'hana_flv_options_page')); </pre> After <pre> add_options_page($this->admin_setting_title,$this->admin_setting_menu, 8, __FILE__,array(&$this,'hana_flv_options_page')); </pre> After the quick fix, only Admin will be allowed to access the option page. Hello, I'am using the 2.2 version of Hana FLV Player for a school project, and my students are contributors on the blog site. I would like to not allow them to get the Hana setting link in the left dasboard sidebar ? I would like to only allow Admin to get acces to the setting menu.. How can I do that ? Hello thefamilyguy, this is a bug with the Flv Player - Maxi Player. I know Maxi is a very nice looking powerful flash player, however, there is no active maintenance or update for this player at this time. So Flowplayer is a better choise when it comes to frequent update and bug fix issue. However, if you have some knowledge in Flash development, you can download the source code yourself and fix it yourself. gdg , sorry for the late reply. By default, autorewind is ON (TRUE), which means that the first splash image will be shown again when the movie is finished playing. I did perform some testing myself and confirmed that this is true. You mean the splashimage attribute didn't work at all? Hello nikcree, First Thank you for using Hana Flv Player. Your video file is not a flv file,but .swf file. And it appears swf file is not supported properly for all of the flash video players included in my plugin. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I myself only have worked with .flv file previously , so I cannot be much of help at this point.
